at the door Lol.

we have one of Dawny's fabulous
sketches to follow.

full of a cold and a sore throat, Blurr.
I was ok last night, my throat felt a bit dry but i
felt fine, i can't believe how quick it hit.
I don't know about you but i always seem to
get something yucky when the kids are on
school hols, i suppose that's better,i don't have
to drag myself out of bed to early.

Got Two cards for you today so bear with me.

Ha Ha I've just realised Bear with me! (Teddy Bea)

Nellie die. The image is on one of the new
wonky rectangle nestie's.

I have used Antique linen distress ink on the edges.
The leaves are cut with my slice machine.

I've had a root through my sugar nellie stamps
again and settled on this cutie from Elisabeth Bell.
I also dug out these Basic Grey Too Scoops papers

challenges

I've been dying to ink up these Sugar Nellie stamps
for ages i have quite a few and they seem to get a bit
neglected. so i made a point of inking some up
on watercolour paper and having a play.

The sentiment is from LOTV.
The papers are from Prima's Botanical paper stack.

Hi all i've been having a play with another
Sugar Nellie Stamp. You wait for ages then two come

They've been sat in a box feeling very neglected,
what with the Tilda's and the Sweet pea stamps i
seem to be obsessed with at the moment.
Anyway here's my card.

I'm entering it into the Sugar Bowl this week they have a sketch to follow
and i am also entering the Flutterby Wednesday challenge
after a month off (you were missed) they are back.
Hurray!!

Butterfly, Angel or Fairy in your design.

The stamp is from sugar nellie it's called 'Postbox'
i have coloured her with Polychromos pencils,
sansador and paperstumps.
The papers are from papermania's Sweet Nothings paper pack.
I have used a Martha Stewart punch lace strip.

The card i made was for a few challenges

I love promarkers - Stripes
Passion for promarkers - Think of a number
Creative inspirations - Sketch
Cute card Thursday - Get fruity

The image is from the sugar nellie range it called 'pickin apples'.
The sentiment is also from sugar nellie with a flower brad.

Cut out with nesti shapes, the DP is from
papermania's rose garden pad.
I have embossed the plain paper with the Numbers
cuttlebug embossing folder and
highlighted them with glitter glue.
I have also used metallic thread to wrap around the card.

I'm not to sure about this card it feels like it needs something
but i don't know what so it will have to do.

Thanks for looking today.

A Good Book

Hi all back to normal fighting fit my colds gone hurrah!!
I've not been crafting much this week, the kids are on school hols
and the weather has been glorious.
looking through this weeks challenges
i decided to make this card.
It combines two challenges Passion for Promarkers and the
new Sugar Nellie challenge.

Passion for Promarkers has the theme Books and
the sugar bowl has a sketch and also a colour
combo of Black, White and Pink.

It's the first time i have used black to colour something other than hair
It was quite tricky to blend it with the grey i got a lot of bleeding onto
her arm and being dark it's quite hard to cover up.
I decided to cut it out and decoupage it that made it look
better.

The stamp is a good book from sugar nellie.
the backing papers are from popcorn bear CD Rom.
I have used a nesti shape cut out of an old book page and
used distress ink around the edges
The flowers are prima and the butterfly is from a spellbinders die
and glittered round the edge.

I think I'll go outside and have a potter in the garden
