Gifts Galore

Hi there my card today is for this weeks LOTV
challenge, the theme is an 'Untraditional Christmas'.
I'm also going to enter this into Creative Insirations
their challenge this week is Christmas in September.

I decided to use my favourite colour PINK
i think it looks good for Christmas.
Nowadays you can get your Christmas tree in all
sorts of colours,we got a new one a couple of years
ago which has a blue theme and it looks fab.
Anyway i digress back to the card.

I have used one of the new Christmas stamps from
LOTV i think this teddy is so cute it's
going to appear a lot on my cards this year.

I have used my Caran D'ache neocolor 2 watersoluble crayons
to water colour the image, These crayons are fab there are
30 in the tin in a range of great colours and best of all
they where £4 off a car boot.
I cut the image with nesti die's
The paper is from the English paper co.
The sentiment is also from LOTV.
The flourishes are cut using Marianne Creatables die.
The flower i made from ribbon and i put a pearl bead
onto a crystal pin and finished off with a pearl brad,
and added a bit of lace.

I've not been card making much lately I've been having a go at
jewelry making.
I bought some chain and grey pearls and this is what i made

This is where i got the idea for the flower on my card
I'd made one first for this necklace and thought it would
look good on a card.
I really enjoyed making this i might have to get some more
pearls in other colours and have a play.

Thanks for looking

Tag it

Hi all, well it did not stop raining here yesterday it was heavy all day,
so what a good excuse to have a crafty play.
so out came the brayer again i got a new Big and Juicy stamp pad
and had a play. It didn't turn out so good i ended up with lines on my
paper but all's not lost, i cut it up and made it into a tag. hurrah!

Which happens to be quite convenient because over at
creative inspirations they have a tag theme this week.

Tag 1

My first tag was made using my brayer and a Big and Juicy
stamp pad in Spice.
I over stamped this with Autumn stamps from the stamp bug
and a sepia ink pad.
Then i used a tree stamp i think was from papermania in black ink
then sprinkled cosmic shimmer embossing powder in
Viola black aurora. This gives it a slight purple tinge.
The fibers are from Dovecraft and the flowers are from stash.

Tag 2

To be honest this i made a while ago i was having a play at the time
with distress inks and water and made a few backgrounds.
So all i needed to do with this was to cut the tag shape
and i over stamped the main butterfly and glitter glued it
and add the sentiments.
The ink used is Dusty Concord the stamps
are Top & Tails 3 from Paperartsy.
sentiment is from L.O.T.V.
Twine is saved from something i bought.

I had fun making these they were quick and easy

border one's i also punched out some small dots
from the edge of the peel off sheets to add on the flourishes
and in the corners which i added glitter glue.

Just Magnolia 72

Hi all , i made this last night its a quick one for Just Magnolia.
There is a sketch to follow from Dawny.
I wanted to use one of my older Tilda's, new one's keep coming out
and the older one's seem to get forgotten about,
which seems a shame because they are all so cute.

I have used cupcake Tilda and coloured her in with copic's
The sentiment and cupcake are from inkadinkado birthday cupcake stamp set.
Nellies die tag.
papers are papermania sweet nothings
doily is from local craft shop.

Still recovering from a fab weekend, we went to
Vanfest which is a big get together for all who
are mad about V W Campers.
Lets just say it's one big party
where the beer and wine flows freely.

for all year round.

She is Tilda with packages i have used a good car boot find
to colour her in some Derwent watercolour pencils
brand new in pack still sealed for £4 wow!
I have used a nestability and inked around the edge with
Chipped sapphire distress ink.
The sentiment is from LOTV.
The flower is another handmade one and i have also used
a wild orchid crafts cherry blossom.
leaves are Martha Stewart punch
The papers if i can remember rightly where
English paper co. I must of bought them 4 or more years ago
but i can't remember what they are called.
It's about time i used them don't you think.
