I'm back

Good morning all hope to find you well.
You may have noticed the lack of posts recently,
apart from the Papertake Weekly posts
i decided to have a little break over Christmas time.
I went cold turkey......ish on anything papery which
freed up a lot of time to divulge into the new
love of my crafty life Crochet/Knitting.

What could be better than looking at a basket
full of brightly coloured wool.

don't they look scrummy.
This is the wool i'm using for my latest project
here's a sneaky look at it so far.

It's going to be a scarf, but actually i love
the way it looks over my wool basket.
I might have to make some more to trim it.
Looking around blogland i have seen a few
flower scarves and thought they looked so lovely,
but could not find a pattern, then i found out that
the pattern came from a Japanese Crochet book.
Not being able to speak or read Japanese buying the book
was a no no.  So i decided to get a close up of one of the flowers and made a pattern up myself and this is
what i came up with, I'm so chuffed with it.
Listen to me, I've only made 9 at the moment
there's another 37 to go
i may not feel the same in a bit.

I also wanted to show you a couple of fab pressies
that Santa brought.

He brought me a new knitting bag to keep all my
hooks and needles in it's so gorgeous.  I also got
this fab book which is actually a tin full of
loveliness.

 Aren't these sooooo yummy.

This is what you can make, but it's so
lovely with little iddy biddy balls of wool in such delish colours i might have to just stroke it for the time being.

Ok i've got to be good now and actually get some
housework done the laundry basket it close
to overflowing. I don't know! this housework
keeps getting in the way of some serious crafting.
 Lol.

Thanks for looking today
i'll be back tomorrow with this weeks
Papertake challenge.
Take care

  2. Wow! Your scarf will be so gorgeous when it is done! Your presents are very yummy too! I can relate - I just learned to crochet over the holidays and I LOVE it! I already have more projects lined up than I can possibly finish (with all the house work getting in the way.)
