Hi there this is a new challenge for me Penny Black Saturday.
They had a list of things to include on your card beside a penny black image.
The image i have used i actually water coloured about 6 months ago
when on a whim i bought the hugs set.
I don't have many penny black stamps but i love the cute
hedgehog and mice in this set.
The flowers are prima, ribbon and buttons are from my local market. the paper is from an
Artylicious CD Rom, i have a few and actually printed it off ages ago, and can't remember which CD it was.
I have had a delivery today of some of the new Fairytale Tilda's they are
gorgeous, pretty, really girly.
I know what I'll be doing tonight colouring my heart out .

Have you been affected by the ash cloud? my parents were supposed to go on holiday today, everything is in limbo waiting to find out if they are going. Hi all its nearly the end of the kids holidays and everything can get back to normal.
The weather has been great here so we've been all over, so not had much time to craft.
I managed a couple of hours last night to make my card for the next
Crafts and Me challenge which is to use the colours Brown,Pink and yellow.
I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils and sansador with paperstumps.
The image is Soft Goth, the papers are from butterfly bliss CD ROM from Artylicious and the
brown spotted paper is from papermania.
I have punched the leaves out of coloured card using a MS branch
and woodware leaf punches.
I can't remember where the flowers came from they are paper with a tie-dye
effect on them. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you all have a nice weekend

Hi all it has been nearly a month since i last visited my local craft shop, so i
decided to pop in at lunch time. I remember now why i haven't been
in, i always end up spending to much!
Amongst the stash i got was this lovely Tilda,
i'd been umming and arring for a
while whether to get this one and she was sat there on the shelf
calling out to me,so i had to give her a new home.
And to my joy while i was in the shop they had a delivery of the new
Magnolia magazine, what timing. So i can't wait to get the little peeps
into bed kick my heels of and thumb through it. That's my idea of heaven, oh yes while eating chocolate of course.
My card recipe
- Magnolia Tilda with spring bundler
- papers Gwenyth petite by paper adventures
- lace from stash
- Magnolia flowers
- Nellie die cut shapes
- lilac gauze
- Sentiment from forever friends
- copics and glitter pens
Oh well I'd better go and make the tea.

This is my second attemped at this card, i don't know what it was but it just didn't look right
so i threw it in the bin and started again. I'm glad to say I'm a lot happier with this one.
It's been lovely here today, i actually got in my garden and tackled the weeds I'm good at growing. ha ha.
Anyway back to my card i have used a magnolia stamp 'Honey Tilda'
I've used my Copics to colour her in.
The papers are 'Rose Garden' from Papermania.
Nellies and nesti dies.
Martha Stewart Punches Heart and Branch.
lace from stash, handmade crochet flower ( by my own fair hand).
Paper T-rose,flower pin.
I've used distress ink in Frayed Burlap to ink around the edges.

Hi all this is my entry for the new challenge blog at Crafts and me,
the theme is Fairies and Wings.
The image i have used is by Ching-chou kuik, i was browsing on her web site
and came across these free images that you can colour and use on your cards, As long as
you credit the artist and don't sell cards with the free image on. There are
six different images here
I have used a mixture of Copic and Promarkers,
the papers are printed off Joanna Sheen's Cottage Garden Cd ROM, they match perfectly with the poppies even though I'd coloured the image in before deciding what papers to use.
The sentiment is from hero art and the leaves and paper ribbon are
Martha Stewart punches.
The paper flowers are from my local craft shop.
