Angie's Crafty Corner

Good morning all, i don't have a card for you today but i have put a few piccies on of my crafty corner.
I love looking at all your craft rooms on your blogs,
some of your craft room/dens are amazing (she says green with jealousy).

You might have read that i dragged the gang to Ikea on
Thursday, for some much needed storage
for my craft things.

Well i got a fab white unit which holds lots and lots,
I've still got the two bottom draws empty so i can buy
more goodies ( don't tell hubby) LOL.

I also saw this fab chair, i always used a dining chair before
with cushions on, but as soon i i saw this and sat on it i
had to have it, it's so comfy.
The cupboard we have had for years but that too came from
Ikea, Mark bought it to put his computer in, but when we redecorated the lounge we had built in units made,
so i got the cupboard, which i love because you can just shut it all away when you want to.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my little crafty corner
Take care

Love is

Hi all my card today is for two challenges
Friday Sketchers - Fab sketch to follow

I was lucky enough to see the Hanglar stamps on eBay
when they were first advertised and snapped at set
up straight away, because if you umm and ahh
about it they go like hot cakes and you miss out.

This little girl is so cute i love this stamp.
I have used my copics to colour her.
The sentiment stamp is from LOTV.
Papers are from K&Company, and
i used some of the same papers to make a flower,
and sprayed it with some mica.
Ribbon and feather from stash.

I'm off to Ikea to look for some storage
for my crafty goodies,
They just keep growing and growing for some reason.
LOL.

Papertake weekly challenge

Good morning hope you are well, we went on our shopping trip but we couldn't get the windmill that she wanted so she got the school instead, so she's happy now. We'll probably not see her for a few days she'll be camped out in her bedroom playing.

This weeks challenge at Papertake weekly
is a sketch challenge made by the fabulous
Dawny. This week we are sponsored by
SimonSaysStamps.
So pop over and have a go.

The stamps i have used are from Buzzcraft, it's part of the Oliver's Orchard range, i found them in the bargain bin at a local craft shop.
I thought they were really cute.
I have coloured her and the butterflies with copics.
I used nestie shapes and used a Martha Stewart punch to go around the edge of the white square.
The papers are the petticoat pink freebie pad
from Quick cards mag, and the ribbon is from John Lewis.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
the butterfly charm from stash.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over and
have a go at Papertake .

Brambly Hedge Wilfred Toadflax

Hi all hope you are having a great weekend, it's half term
here now so the kids are looking forward to the week off.
Beth's managed to stop sucking her thumb as the dentist asked and as a reward we said she could choose something from Sylvanian Families she absolutely loves them.
So i said if she can crack it before half term we would buy her what she wanted. Well I'm going to take her tomorrow
she decided to get the Windmill they do so she really
excited.

I don't have a card to share, I've not been in a card making mood at the moment, but i have been in a knitting mood and made Wilfred to go with the Primrose i made before
Christmas.
I bought the pattern off eBay as i didn't have a Wilfred one
and kept it a secret and gave it her the other day she was thrilled.

I also wanted to thank Lynne for giving me this award.
Thanks hun.
I have to pass it onto the blogs i love to visit
so i have chosen

Go and check out their blogs their work is wonderful and inspirational.

Oh well back to it, Beth's having a major sort out of her room and it looks like a bombs hit it at the moment.
Better go and help she's making room for her windmill

thanks for looking

Putting on the Glitz

Hi  there well it's  Papertake Weekly time again and this week
the theme is

PUTTING ON THE GLITZ

that's right we want you to use as much sparkle,
glitter as you like.

This week challenged is sponsored by Wendy's digi delights.

Did everyone have a nice day yesterday, did ya
fellas remember.
Mine did, sometimes he doesn't, but yesterday he did
got me a  card and he took me out for
lunch which was lovely. He definitely scored some
brownie points. LOL.

Onto my card i have used Cupid Tilda, i must say that out of all my Tilda's this has to be one of my favourites and it's a shame that i can only really use her once a year.
The sentiment is from LOTV
I have painted her with distress inks on
water colour card.
The papers are  from Basic Grey bittersweet pad.
I have used Nesti and Marianne creatables die for the shapes.I used pumice stone distress ink
on the edge of the image.
I coloured the flowers with the distress inks and water so the would match. I love the way these have turned out
I'll be doing that again. I sprayed them with a mixture of pearlescent mica powder and water to give the flowers a
sheen. The hearts in the middle of the flowers are
punch leftovers, i put diamond glaze on and a pinch of glamor dust .
The leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch.
The pin is form the Ribbon Girl.
i have added diamante and glittered around the edges
with platinum stickles.

Well I've got to go out now, my son has lost his
school tie and I'll have to get him a new one.
I don't know ' Boy's ' what can you do with them?

One and only heart

Hi all hope to find you well this evening.
Here's my card i made last night,
i dug out a sweet pea stamp
and painted her with distress inks.
She is One and only heart and I'm entering her into a few
challenges this week.

Creative Inspirations - colours Red/Pink and White.
In a Sweet Pea Dream - Anything from sweet pea.
Magical Monday - Love
CES - Red and Romance

I have been having a play with my Grand Calibur
and made a shaped card for a change.
I really love it, the fact you can actually
cut more than one at a time it's just fab.
I've only got one set of grand dies at the mo,
I'll have to do some more saving.

The paper is from K&Co best of paper stack.
I have recycled the flower spray
from another card and added some red feathers.
I have used seam binding ribbon
and put a brad in the middle. The brad
is  from K&Co, which i must confess i have had for
years and only remembered i had them when i gave my
craft cupboard a spring clean a few weeks ago.
The pin is from the Ribbon Girl.
The sentiment is from LOTV,
stamped on a mini tag die cut shape from Go Kreate.
I went round the image with silver stickles.
