Just Swimming along

Hi all hope you are all well.
Just thought i would pop on and show you my latest
card while no ones on the computer and i can
use it in peace.lol.
I made this for the Teddy Bo blog
using one of the latest digi stamps
that was released on Tuesday,
isn't she just fab.
As soon i i saw her i thought of these bubble
papers from Magnolia, although i
don't have much left of it now, i'll have to see
if i can get some more.

Teddy Bea is coloured in with Polychromos pencils
and blended with sansodor.

The sentiment is from a mermaid stamp set i think
was by Woodware.
The sea weed flourishes are from a
Marianne creatables die.
I have also added a few touches of star dust stickles
i've nearly run out of that as well but i must
say it's the first glitter i turn to all the time, it
just goes with any colour you used.

Well hope you have a fab weekend and the weather
stays nice for you all.
Take care

Hi Cupcake

Hi all hope you've been enjoying this glorious weather.

and decided to make a card for some challenges
seen as i haven't for a while.

I'm entering

Addicted to stamps - Cupcakes

Papertake challenge Sketch 58

Hi all i'm back with this weeks Papertake
weekly challenge

it's sketch time.

and we are sponsored this week by
Simon Says Stamp.

Finally used my Strawberry Tilda, she's been sat in the
packet unopened for a while...tut tut.
That's not like me i usually open new stamps straight
away, but i have been crocheting more just lately
and had not got round to opening it.
Then it got buried under some papers,
and forgotten about ..oops  well
you get the picture.

I have used these fab papers from Raspberry Road
from the Wild Strawberry set.

I used my new Marianne creatables die
to make a jam pot cover, though i'm not happy
about where i have put the sentiment,
it makes the red check paper look lopsided, i only
noticed it when i took the picture's after
and i couldn't be bothered to start again.

I coloured the image with Polychromos pencils.
Sentiment is from LOTV,  and i have used
a Martha Stewart Heart border punch.

Well thanks for looking ,i'm off to have
some lunch then it's back into the garden i have
a mountain of soil to spread out ready for grassing.

as usual, but i can make a brew and
go back to bed. Lol.

and the challenge this time is

 Alter Something.

I have altered a MDF tissue box cover
i have had for a while.

I have used four Teddy Bea images which i
coloured with a mixture of Copics and promarkers.
I painted the box with white Acrylic paint then
covered with papers from Raspberry Road.
Made a lace trim with a Martha Stewart punch.
Butterflies are made with Sheena's paint fusion
technique.
Flowers bouquets made with flowers
from Wild orchid crafts.

It's also release day and here are this weeks images

Beths Trophy

Here you are as promised, she brought
her Music trophy home, she plays the violin.
The sun has come out at last, it's been raining all day
so we went outside in the garden to take a
picture before it disappears again,
and also before she takes her uniform off
for the summer. she won't want to put
it on again now until September.
take care

Dreaming

Hi all nearly there it's that last day of school
then we have 6 weeks off hurray.

I have just come back from church where they were
having a leavers service for all the year 6 going to
high school in September.
They also gave out school awards and
Beth got one for Music.

The headmaster phoned me up yesterday,
my first thought was oh no what's happened,
but it was to let me know she was getting this award
and i had been sworn to secrecy.
He! He!

So it was a big surprise this morning
when he called out her name.
She was given a trophy, i don't know if she can bring
it home, if she does i'll put a picture up of her.

Made a Teddy Bea card, i have been itching to use
this image it's been out a while and this is
the first time i have coloured her
slap hands.

Used Polychromos pencils and
Raspberry Road papers.
Sentiment is from Lili of the valley.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.

Thanks for stopping by today and if you want
a bit of a giggle go and check out

Lets Get Cute

Hi all it's Papertake time again
and this weeks challenge is

Getting Cute

as you might have guessed
we want to see all those cute cards
which will be easy, as there are so many cute images
out there.
We are sponsored this week by
Digital Delights.

I have dug out my Sarah Kay images
that i had actually coloured a long time ago with
Copics and have been sat in a box waiting to be used.

As the theme is cute i had to go
with my favourite colour Pink.
Papers are from Raspberry Road.

My Doohickey flower dies arrived a few days ago
at last, i ordered them online from Crafts U Love
then i got an email saying they had run out of stock and i had to wait for the next delivery.
Anyway nearly a month later i've got them,
so i had to play.

Flourishes and sentiment tag
are from Marianne Creatables dies.

I have added gems to the flourishes.

Thanks for stopping by today
and hope you join in and have a play.

Ha ha i'm a poet and i didn't know it.
Gosh that takes me back,
we used to say that when we were
kids.

Sir Teddy Bo

Good morning all, blimey it Tuesday again
these weeks seem to fly by and the kids
break up on Friday for the summer,
lets hope Mr sun comes back.

It's Teddy Bo time and wow check out
the new releases they are fantastic.

Love this Teddy Bo dressed up as a
knight so i had to have a play.

Coloured him with polychromos pencils
and i used a silver pen for the sword.
The papers are from DCWV Once upon a time
paper pad perfect for this little guy.
Stamped around the edge of the image with
Lilli of the valley's corner stamps in
vintage photo distress ink.
The flowers are from the matching
embellishment set from DCWV,
apart from the small one which i punched
out of an old book page
and distressed with vintage photo.
Flourishes are from a Marianne creatables die.

You can see the sword shine a bit more in this photo,
although it looks really good in the light,
it looks like a proper metal sword.

Don't forget to check out the Teddy Bo challenge,
this week it's still Team A's challenge
and they want you to use Teddy Bea only.

Thanks for looking

Birthday Bo

Good morning on this wet and miserable day.
good excuse to stay in and craft.
It's hubby's birthday today and he has to work
(Boo Hoo). We had a nice day out yesterday though,
i took him out for lunch, we really enjoyed it.

While he's not here i thought i would let you have
a sneaky peek at the card i have made him.

I had to use a Bo image of course
so decided to use one of the new release ones
Flutterby net Bo
but instead of holding his net he could hold
a Happy Birthday banner.

I'm really pleased with the way it's turned out.

He's coloured in polychromos pencils
i have used papers from K&Co best of paper stack.
Spellbinders wonky squares die  and
inked round the edge with Fired Brick
distress ink.
I haven't used any embellies as he's
not a fussy bloke, you know what these
fellas are like.

Anyway will have to go and put it in an
envelope now.
Shushhh!!
You can't tell him you've seen it
it's a surprise.

We are going to have pressy opening
when he comes home tonight.

Going to enter this into

Creative inspirations -no flowers allowed.
Simon says stamp - Anything goes
Sweet Stampin - One for the boys

Thanks for stopping by today

Sneaky peek and Gala

Good afternoon all hope you are well,
Just popped on to show you a sneaky peek from
Teddy Bo and Co for next Tuesday
12th July.
It's Bea on a cloud.
Which gave me the opportunity to finally
use my Grand oval dies from spellbinders,
I've only had the 2 months.
I made an oval easel base card.

Using my copics i tried a sepia look
to the colouring but I'm not sure
if i like it or not, it's harder than you think
just using one colour although a bit of
red did creeped in.

The papers are from Raspberry Road.
I have used Vintage photo distress ink.
The flowers and leaves are made using
the wavy rose die from Marianne Creatables.
I have also used a sentiment from LOTV.

It's our village Gala today and i have just been
to the end our our road to watch the procession
go by. Beth is in it with guides they are dressed up
as characters from Nursery Rhymes
Beth is the baker from Pat-a-cake Pat-a-cake.

I have just popped back home to
Publish my sneaky peek and thought i would share
a few piccies of her as well.

She has had me making crochet cupcakes
for her to carry, I have sewn them onto a paper
plate so they won't keep falling off.

Been scouring the interweb for patterns
with a bit of playing around
came up with these.
She was well pleased,
i don't think I'll get them back.

Oh well just enough time now to have a brew before
i have to go to the playing field to pick her up.
I'm sure she will want to go on the fun fair.

Thanks for looking
