came out well and they
taste good as well.

Spooky Hues

Hi all hope you are well. We are getting in the
spooky mood this week at Papertake weekly
Our challenge this time is to make a card
using Spooky colours.
That doesn't mean it has to be a spooky card
just use traditional spooky
colours.

The fab prize up for grabs this week is
a spooky coloured mini kit from the Ribbon Girl.

Wow lovin all these gorgeous
ribbons what great colours to.

I have used Hazel digi image from
wee stamps, isn't she just the
sweetest.
Out came my Polychromos pencils
and Sansodor, these colours went
perfectly with these BooVille papers
from Raspberry Road.
I bought a 12x12 piece of purple
core'dinations card and die cut
the Tim Holtz Weathered Clock and Flourish.
I also made a rosette using my Scor-pal at
1cm intervals, i saw somebody make them on C&C
and had to have a go.
I then sanded it all to give it a distressed look.
The trick or treat sentiment i found
scouting the Internet for freebie's.
The spiders webs are printed onto acetate, i
think they came off a Joanna Sheen CD ROM,
I printed them years ago and found them recently
while searching for something else,
but i just can't remember
which CD it was off hand.
Leaves are made using a Martha Stewart punch.
The flowers, gems and pin are from my stash.

I am also going to enter my card
into the following challenges.

Charisma Cardz - In Stitches
Simon Says Stamp - Halloween
Addicted to stamps - Halloween
CES - Forever Autumn.

Autumn Tilda

Good morning all hope you are well.
I was in the mood for a good play last night,
so out came all my embossing powders,
distress inks, dies and a list of
challenges to enter.
Ooh what fun i had getting messy,
Fortunately i had this Tilda image already
coloured with distress inks on water colour paper,
she was already done in the colours i wanted to use.

Over at the Shabby Tea room they have a
photo inspiration challenge with some
lovely autumnal colours.
Rooting through the Raspberry Road paper set i have
i came across this one out of the
Josephine set that was perfect. The stripe paper is
from the same set, i printed  it on both sides of the
paper to make it double sided for the flower.

The flower is made from a Doo Hickey die from Magnolia,
The challenge over at TOMIC this week is to use
a Doo Hickey die.
I then had a play with gold twinkle embossing powder
on the edges of the flower to give it a distressed look.
Just Magnolia challenge theme this time is
distressing.

The image is cut with a Go Kreate die and i
have inked the edges with
Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo distress ink,
i then again just touched the edges with gold embossing powder. I stamped a swirl stamp around the edge of the image with vintage photo ink.
I then put this on top of a Weathered clock die
from Tim Holtz that i gold embossed.

The digi sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly,
cut with a nesti circle and inked
with the same distress inks.
The leaves are both Martha Stewart punches.
I used brown parcel paper and vintage photo
distress in to colour, then while the ink was still
wet i sprinkled iridescent gold embossing powder
that i made up with clear embossing powder
and some gold mica powder on to give it a
metallic look.

I am also going to enter this into
they have the theme
Colours of Autumn.

Thanks for stopping by today
Take care

We have a theme this week which is

Get in Shape

we want to see three
different shapes on your cards.

We are sponsored this time
by Whiff of Joy

I have used
Square,rectangle and circle.

I have finally made my first

Christmas card for this year,
one down loads to go.. LOL.

It all started with wanting to have a play
with my inktense pencils, so i
dug out a trusty Tilda and some
water colour card and had a play.

She somehow ended up being different shades
of brown so i settled on vintage style.

I have used  Tim Holtz alterations die's
Weathered clock and Tattered Flowers.
I never thought i could use these not having a
sizzix machine
but then found out (Thank heavens for You tube)
that you can use these in a Cuttlebug
just using 2 B plates

HURRAY!!

Glad i didn't get rid of my bug when i got my Caliber.
I had them on order
before the demo had finished.
They are fantastic i just love them,
something else i can start collecting now.
Don't tell Hubby.

I used old book pages inked with
Vintage Photo distress ink for the flower.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid.
Sentiment from LOTV.
I used platinum and star dust stickles,
Lace is from my stash.

I'm also going to enter my card into this weeks
Just Magnolia challenge.
I think i must have had a premonition or something
because i made my card last Wednesday.
Looking at the challenge on Friday
they have an Anything goes with an
option theme which is
Coffee and Cream.
Spooky or what.

Anyway

that's all for now
