Anything goes at Papertake

Good afternoon all, well it couldn't last, it
started raining here this afternoon although 
it saves me watering the garden later.


My sweet pea's have just started flowering so 
the house smells gorgeous,i have to pick them.
There is someone who lives near my mums 
who grows the most magnificent sweet peas
and they don't pick them, what a crime.
  We keep threatening to go round
in the night and pick them.Lol.


Well it's Papertake Weekly time again

This cutie is called Millie just for you.
I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils
and sansodor.

Pins from stash.
Loving these colours they look so fresh and no
pink in sight, wow that's unusual for me.. LOL!


Oh well off to do some baking 
i can't keep up the cakes disappear as quick as i
can make them.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Good morning all hope you have been making the most of

this glorious weather.

We've been doing the garden up and need to

do some serious digging but have been 

struggling in this heat. 

We'll get there in the end.

It's release day at Teddy Bo and Co

Go and check out the new images

I decided as the current challenge over
at Teddy Bo Tuesday is 

Anything but a card i had to make

something else, so i have been busy making 

this wall/door plaque.

When i saw this image it screamed

to be decoupaged.

I thought the image would be great for

a Craft Room Plaque.

I have used good old Polychromos pencils and 

sansodor.

The papers are from Raspberry Road hope you all

stocked up this weekend their papers are delish.

Sentiment is computer generated and inked

with spun sugar distress inks.

I have made the crochet flower and put a

wooden heart button on that i

picked up from a wool shop.

Lace i picked up at a car boot at the weekend.

Flourishes are made from a Marianne Creatables Die.

I actually used my crop-o-dile to make the eyelets

not used this for ages.

Note to self need to think of more things i can used

this on.

Teddy Bea Sneaky Peek

Hi all hope you are well, Just popped on to give you

another sneaky peek at one of the new images 

from Teddy Bo and Co

that are to be released on 5th July.

I don't know whats this one is going to be called

but she is totally fab to colour.

 

I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils.

The papers are from Raspberry Road and if you go

onto their web site this weekend everything is 

Half Price  yes i said Half Price.

I have just been on and filled my basket

with lots of scrummy papers, they are all gorgeous

it was hard to choose.

I have cut the image out using a Go Create die,

The heart is a Nellie die.

The postie brought my order from Wild orchid

yesterday i got some of the new carnation flowers

which i have used on my card.

I have also used some seam binding from the ribbon girl

and added stickles glitter glue .

Nearly finished my housework I'm

trying to get everything done before Andy

Murray plays tennis this afternoon.

Papertake Sketch challenge

Hi all managed to get my list of

jobs for today done.

I'm back with my card for this weeks 

Papertake Weekly Challenge

It's a sketch challenge 

this week

The sketch is designed by Dawny P,

she is so talented and they are

great to follow,  especially when i have a 

mental block and struggle with a layout.

 I have been practicing my Crochet.

I bought a book last week from my local wool shop

that is full of patterns for making crochet flowers.

This one on my card is a string of flowers, you can 

make it as long as you like.

This was my second go i thought the shape

on this was much better ( i am still learning).

I'm getting better though i made a Pansy and a 

double flower that looks a bit like a water Lilly

last night, hold on a sec I'll go and take a picky for you.

Here you are.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet

i think they are a bit to big to go on cards,

i just love to make them.

Anyway back to my card

I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps

coloured with Polychromos pencils.

I have used one of spellbinders wonky squares

and inked the edges with antique linen

distress in, i also stamped the LOTV sentiment with

the same ink.

The papers are from Dovecraft's Sugar and Spice

paper pack.

Added some stickles glitter glue here and there.

Better get a move on it's Beth's sports day

at school this afternoon.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Good morning all it's glorious here today

i got two loads of washing in and I'm

making the most of a dry day.

Got a busy one today, i had a day off yesterday

and now i have a 101 things to do today, why does 

that seem to happen.

Anyway it's Teddy Bo Tuesday and 

the challenge this fortnight is to make

Anything but a card

When i first saw the theme i had a wave of dread and

thought oh no not a card, out of my comfort zone.

But  having a rummage through my craft cupboard

i came across this memo block that i must

of had over 10 years it's a relic from

my cross stitch days.

To be really honest i had forgot i bought it ,

smack my hand.

So i had to use it.

The images are of course from Teddy Bo

and i have coloured them with Polychromos pencils

The papers are from Wild Rose Studio lilac mist

paper pad.

Paper lace is made using a Marianne Creatables die.

Flutterby Butterfly

Good afternoon all hope you are all enjoying this warm

weather, make the most of it while it lasts.

I dug my maxi dress out this morning, I've not

had it on since my hols last year,
it was nice to see it again.

Did a bit of gardening yesterday but i had to stop, it
just got to hot, only managed to
deweed my veggie patch but anyway that's one less
job to do although it will be full again in a few
weeks knowing my weeds..lol.

I had a scout around the challenges yesterday.

I don't know why but i seemed to have

been out of the challenge

loop these last few weeks.

Anyway made a list and managed to 

make this card for the following.

The Shabby Tea room - My favourite things

The stamp is from Hanglar, coloured with 
Polychromos pencils and sansodor.
Papers are my favourite at the moment they are
from Raspberry Road 'oh so shabby'
they are all scrummy.
The butterfly is from Sheena's Paint fusion kit,and
i have used gold glitter embossing powder on the top.
The Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.

The sentiment is from one of the Stampman's
butterfly stamp sets, i have had these years and years
and have recently dug them out and rediscovered them
again, don't you love it when that happens 
it's like buying new stamps again.

Teddy Bo sneaky peek

 Hi all just a quickie today, thought i would give you a 

sneak peek at one of the new images to be released at

Teddy Bo is so cute off on his hike birdwatching.

The question is what kind of birds is he looking at?

don't tell Teddy Bea she might get jealous. Lol.

I have coloured him in with Polychromos pencils 

and sansodor.

I have stamped round the edge of the image with one

of the addition corner stamps from Lili of the valley

in bundled sage distress ink.

The postcard is also from the same range and i

have used vintage photo distress ink.

The papers are from K&Co best of stack.

Bird die cut is Marianne Creatables.

Ribbon from the ribbon girl.
