Just Magnolia Challenge 70

Hi all well i have finally given in and started my Christmas cards.
i am going to enter my card into Just Magnolia this week
they have a fab sketch to follow from Dawny.
When i saw this sketch i immediately thought Christmas
i don't know why but anyway.

When i bought this Tilda i thought at the time it would be a good one
for all year round.

She is Tilda with packages i have used a good car boot find
to colour her in some Derwent watercolour pencils
brand new in pack still sealed for £4 wow!
I have used a nestability and inked around the edge with
Chipped sapphire distress ink.
The sentiment is from LOTV.
The flower is another handmade one and i have also used
a wild orchid crafts cherry blossom.
leaves are Martha Stewart punch
The papers if i can remember rightly where
English paper co. I must of bought them 4 or more years ago
but i can't remember what they are called.
It's about time i used them don't you think.

It's a lovely sunny day here today so I'm off outside
to take in the rays.
Thanks for stopping by

Lets get sentimental

Hi all I've finally got round to making another card, i don't know
what wrong with me i just can't get into it at the moment.
I think when the kids have gone back to school things will get back to normal.

Thanks to Trish ( Diamond doll) for spotlighting me on the
Crafts and Me blog. It was a very nice surprise and made my day.
Pop over and take a look .

My card today is for Just Magnolia the theme is 'Lets get sentimental'.
Also for Bunny Zoe's their theme this month is Vintage.

I have used if you could call it that a Vintage Tilda
she is one of the first one's i bought, It's cross stitch Tilda.
The sentiment i have used is from Sweet Pea stamps.
I have coloured her with promarkers.
The paper is from the k&co giant paper stack and
the flower was made again using the instructions in the
last Magnolia ink mag, using k&co paper and stickles.
I have edged everything with Antique Linen and Vintage photo
distress inks and stickles.
I have punched some leaves out of green card
with my Martha Stewart Branch punch.

Thanks for stopping by today

Silk Dance

Hi all here it is my card for this weeks Sweet Pea Stampers
the theme this week is Swirls and Flourishes.
I finally got around to playing last night, I've had a
mountain of washing to do and we decided to
go out for the day yesterday.
I popped into Hobbycraft and got one of the
K&Co paper stacks that has all the best ones in,
It's like a brick, there are 360 papers in
and they are all fab.

The stamp i have used is called 'Silk Dance', i have also used
Stamps from the Sweet Pea fairy set from Crafters Companions.
I have used copics to colour and added highlights with a glitter pen.
I have put a piece of Core-dinations card through the cuttlebug
using the swirl embossing folder then sanded lightly.

Thanks for looking

I'm Back !

Hi all just a quick post to say I'm back.
We have been to Turkey and boy was it hot.
I think we have all melted.
Kids spent all their time in the pool best place to be
i did a lot of shade bathing to hot to sit in the sun.
We have had a great time though,
recharged our batteries and are raring
to go.
I think i started to get crafty withdrawal symptoms,
i started to dream about craft shopping.
Not a great end to hols though got to airport
to find out we had a 4 hour delay
so we didn't get home till late last night.
But hay ho.
Anyway hope to have a card in the next few days once
I've checked out the challenges.
